Fur has been presented at the opening of What remains, based on a documentation picture of a performance by Adam Brooks.

This festival,curated by Ieke Trinks, focuses on an object collection – relics from performances that director/artist Joseph Ravens has gathered over a period of 9 years from performances presented at Defibrillator Gallery.

Ieke Trinks invited performance artists to collaborate by developing a new performance piece, based on one of the pictures from this collection.

“possible performance comb hair, leave traces on a platter, invite the participants to comb themselves, each other
cut hair of head, mustache, beard, armpit, pubic area
lay it on the platter,give the scissor to a participants
wait
hair might be added
everyone might participate
if all hair is collected
form a mix of all these hairs
mix it
take a magnify glass
look at the different colors, forms, lengths
invite participants to take a look
leave the scissors, combs and platter with hair in the space”
